Z Corporation CLOSES ANOTHER RECORD YEAR Z Corporation reported another recordyear of revenues and new orders in the fiscal year ending December 31, 2003, achieving 24% growth in new orders. .Z Corporation was named to Deloitte & Touche's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for the third consecutive year, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in New England. Also during the year, Z Corporation announced its second year on the Inc. 500 ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the country by Inc. Magazine. The Company recorded another profitable year in 2003. According to Marina Hatsopoulos, CEO of Z Corporation, "We have been profitable four out of the past five years, while winning numerous awards for growth during the period. We believe Z Corporation has the best technology to reach the large and growing market for 3D printing due to its inherent advantages: speed, low operating cost and full-color capability. The Company is strategically positioned for further growth as the economy continues to improve." Tom Clay, President, added, "This exciting year started with our release of a new entry-level system that has exceeded even our own expectations. Our unit sales of entry-level monochrome systems grew 130% over 2002. The rapid growth in unit sales drove the company past a significant milestone with the shipment of our 1,000th machine to a customer site. Our results were further enhanced by sales of a new material system for making plastic-like parts, which provides greater versatility for our installed base of customers." To further fuel its growth, Z Corporation has been aggressively adding to its distribution capabilities. According to John Kawola, Vice President of Sales and Marketing,"Our plan is to continue to aggressively pursue the 3D Printing market. Building a strong Sales Management team and well-managed distributor channel is essential for us to continue to achieve high growth. In the past year, we added sales staff in Europe, Asia Pacific and North America and we grew the number of distributors carrying our product by 60%." In addition to a growing employee base, Z Corporation was pleased to welcome Mr. Jon Hirschtick to its Board of Directors during the year. Mr. Hirschtick is the Founder and former CEO of SolidWorks Corporation, the leading provider of Windows-based 3D CAD.
